General Instructions

1. Pick up the telephone within two rings.

2. Give a proper reply. If the person is not available, note down the details of the person called and inform the concerned person.

3. Give feedback as required. Even if the job is not completed, do not hesitate.

4. Do not think that you can do all the work. Delegate the work.

5. Train others; let them work in your absence. Only the one who trains others is a successful person.

6. Write down work given by seniors and give feedback promptly. Do not rely on memory as it can fail at the right time.

7. Switch off the lights and fan when not required.

8. Do not argue with seniors unnecessarily.

9. When asking for a call from the reception, provide the correct number, contact person, and company.

10. Give a polite reply to all.

11. Do not gossip with security personnel.

12. Do not misuse office property.

13. Keep your workplace neat and clean.

14. Maintain proper records of all correspondence.

15. If taking planned leave, brief all pending work/issues to another responsible person. In case of emergency leave, inform any person over the phone about pending issues/work.

16. No smoking is allowed inside the office premises.

17. All employees are required to wear the uniform provided to them and wear identity cards.

18. Dispose of all waste in the waste basket provided.

19. Use one-sided paper for internal communications and papers that are filed.

20. Tear unwanted papers and then dispose of them in the waste basket.

21. If there is any doubt, ask and clarify. Do not hesitate.
