I am facing a problem right now in my current company. There is lot of politics in my company. Even they like more buttering than work. Recently I was blamed that you have done some deletion of code and we will investigate.
During this period, I resigned from the company and serving one month notice period as per my appointment letter but they are not accepting my resignation and saying that till investigation is going on, we can not accept.
What to do, since I am unable to work and also they are not leaving me by not accepting my resignation. I am feeling a lot of stress now a days. Even I have offer from other company, Please advise...

If you are not at fault, don't worry. In the interim, talk to the new company as to whether they will allow you to join without relieving letter from the previous company and request them for giving 2-3 months for submitting the relieving letter.
Bear in mind that nobody can force you to work without your willingness.

Like Pon suggested, try to take the max time possible from the new company.
Next, check out how much time would the investigation take in the present company. You haven't mentioned the timeframes [when did the situation happen & when did you resign, etc]--sometimes investigations of this sort can be done in a week or so & sometimes it does take more time. Since you are a technical person, you ought to figure-out if they are speaking the truth or playing politics [one possibility COULD be that some code was 'INDEED DELETED' by someone & it's being put onto your head].
Rather than talking in generals, check out WHICH code do they mean--since you were involved in the project, you should be able to put your finger on the approx area they are talking about. The best way to handle such situations is to talk technically rather than going by just the rules.
