My joiniing Date : 15-12-2008

My Previous empolyer is not providing any acknowledgement , whether PF withdrawal has been filed or not. Even after folowing repeatedly on Month-on-Month Basis. It has been 9 Months (270 days) Since I have left the organisation.

I have even asked them , if it is misplaced or something wrong. Please let me know, so that I can come once again and fill the fresh PF withdrawal form.

Hi ,
Sorry for bringing to your attention, but after repeatedly following with PF Team of HSBC. I haven't got any response / acknowledgement copy for
the PF withdrawal filed with Maharashtra government from HSBC PF team .
I hereby request, HSBC PF team to provide the acknowledgement copy so that I can follow with PF office there after.
Please have look into mail chain for my previous conversation had with PF team, every time I get a read receipt but HSBC PF team doesn't share
any information related to status of my PF withdrawal.
I request HSDI to provide right contact details of the PF team to resolve the PF withdrawal. If required I will follow on the weekly Basis or else
request HSBC PF team to inform when to contact them again in this regard.

Dear PF Team,
I am have been regularly writing the mails to Know whether my PF withdrawal has been filed with Maharashtra government.
On 18th Jan 2011, I had provided all the details including the consignment number wherein , I had courriered the PF withdrawal forms to Hyderabad
Branch. Requesting HSBC if they required any further information. I haven't received any reply from HSBC PF Team.
I have again written a mail to HSBC PF Team on 14th Feb 2011, to provide the acknowledgement.
It has been almost 8 Months since I have left HSDI Hyderabad. As per a standard rule Most companies file the PF withdrawals with respective government's
where the PF account is opened after 60 days the empolyee has left an organisation.
wrt that I have attached a acknowledgement copy received from my previous employer Mphasis an EDS compamy. wherein, I had quit on 1st Dec 2008 and
the PF withdrawal was filed 20-Mar-2009. So they have taken 3 and HalfMonths only. My name is available in 4th Page in the attachment.
I have even checked with the PF office, they are asking to provide the acknowledgement. So that they can track it's status.
It's really being painful to write repeated mails to HSBC PF Team, in a sense seems to me that as if i am contacting some government agencies.
Please let me know if any further information is required.
Thanks,
Ravindra S

Hi Ravindra,

You have to do one thing, just prepare for legal action rather asking for your withdrawal details, because by seeing you tread, everyone can understand that your last company just harassing you.

First you, just send one legal notice from criminal lawyer to your last company regarding information you are seeking from.

And second you make apeal to know the information about your EPF withdrawal Status under R.T.I act,

there are various way to get the withdrawal amount but you should firm with legal action cause only take 90 days to get the money from EPF departments more than this means there is something malfunction from your last employer,

the following para you should take into account before going to legal proceeding.

See E.P.F department issue PF account number after 90 days and issue PF passbook after one year

1. Pass BOOk

2. E.P.F Account Number (which you have have)

3. Salary Slip

4. Bank Statement

5. Your correspondence with previous company (PAST Documents)

6. Resignation letter

7. Reliving latter

After collecting the above information you may take justice from E.P.F commissioner of that particular area or Through Labour inspecting authority.

Please let me know your action and its result.

From India, Bangalore
Hi All,
on 26 July 2011 , I had written a mail to HSDI to that I will file an RTI complaint against them . To which the HSDI PF team had replied to call them.
Todayon 27th July 2011 - when I had called them , they informed my previous PF withdrawal forms have been misplaced.
So I have informed them, to send a mail stating the same why I need to come and fill the form for second time?
Need to Book 2 Tickets for both onward and return Journey and 1 day accomodation.
They have informed me too call tomorrow for the same. will update once I have spoken with them.
Thanks,
Ravindra S

From India, Bangalore
on 28th July HSDI Personal had sent a mail to call them directly to look into the issue.

The person who had attended the call on behalf of HSDI , said they have missed out the PF withdrawal forms.

Requesting me to come and fill the forms for the second time. To which I have replied that, mail needs to be sent out to me mentioning why I need to come to Hyderabad/Pune to fill the forms once again.

HSDI needs to book a ticket for both onward and return journey for 2 persons and 1 day accomodation. It's upto them how they handle situation.

They have informed me to call them back tomorrow. will update again once I have spoken to them.

To which they had replied saying that, they haven't received my PF withdrawal forms.

Dear Sir/Madam,

In continuation to our earlier mail, our concerned officials investigated on your complaint and confirmed the status of your consignment as delivered on 05.Oct.2010, @:13.23Hrs against HSBC ( Receptionist) . Since we got this status from our old server we will not be able to provide you the Hard copy of POD.

Assuring our quality services at all times and requesting your patronage always.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

For DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd.,

I am very much happy that, I didn't make any false claims of me sending the courrier.

I had demanded an apology, to which they apologised saying to sorry to provide delayed informatiom and before that, they wanted to blame me for my false claims.

This is in regards to the mail below. We do empathize with your concern but would like to clarify a few points which you have raised only on the basis of your self built perceptions.

As per the process, PF documents are to be handed over personally before on on the last day in the organization , which was not done by you . You claim to have couriered it to Hyd Office but no courier has been received.

Sanket had already left the organization and it would have been a better decision for you to drop a mail or contact your releasing manager before sending any courier. To explain the details for further clarity -

The forms 10C & Form 19 are submitted under the govt proceedings and hence all the details should be correct while they are submitted. On the last day , whenever an associate submits the same personally , the concerned team member ensures that he /she checks and it is processed .

As a resort to solve your issues and as explained by Karthik , kindly send the required documents asap .

I anticipate cooperation from your end to resolve this for mutual benefit

Feel free to reachout in case of any further queries.

To which I had replied as below..,

Hi Shefali,

Please find my reply, I am not trying to insult, damage or have some fun by writing mails.

Again and again , I have been targeted for someone's else mis-doings.

I have replied to this mail only not to make things complicate,But Some of the Lines of your's are very Harsh and decipit me as all the fault was being done by me. I had not followed the policies and Procedures of Exit from the company.

In that case I didn't even recieve any information about whom to contact for PF withdrawal, Form-16 others after repeatedly asking Mr. Sanket and Devayani ( whom I had spoken to on the Last day)

I took a lot of pain to collect your mail id and Raiska mail id to reach you people for the help.

This is in regards to the mail below.

We do empathize with your concern but would like to clarify a few points

which you have raised only on the basis of your self built perceptions.

>>>>

Perceptions are left to Individuals . what seems right to me , may not be right for everyone else in this world.

Otherwise we would not have this much of communication on this.

As per the process, PF documents are

to be handed over personally before on on the last day in the organization, which was not done by you.

>>>>>>

Mr. Sanket didn't take by PF withdawal Forms - As HSBC cheques weren't accepted. That's the reason he informed me to take the forms along with me and courier them.

. You claim to have couriered it to Hyd Office but no courier has been received

>>>>>

I have even provided the DTDC mail, which says it was delivered to HSDI Hyderabad-84.

. Sanket had already left the organization and it would have been a better decision for you to drop a mail or contact your releasing manager before sending any courier.

>>>>>

The same was not comunicated to me by Mr.Sanket when I asked whom should I send while sending the Courier. He just mentioned the send it across his name.

My Releasing Manager Mr. Haridhar Venkat Kolli, had been on leave for 2 weeks. If you recollect we even had discussion about my Last working Day. where I didn't even get a formal mail for HRBP about my Last working. where I was asking Mr. Haridhar Venkat Kolli to confirm my Last working Day on daily basis from my date of Resignation.

wherein for other cases of resgination, concerned members had received a cnformation mail of their Last working Day form HRBP from 10 days of their resignation.

To explain the details for further clarity -

The forms 10C & Form 19 are

submitted under the govt proceedings and hence all the details should be

correct while they are submitted. On the last day , whenever an associate

submits the same personally , the concerned team member ensures that he

/she checks and it is processed .

>>>>>

Yes, I very much agree with the above information. After being verified my Mr. Sanket only I had taken them along with me.

I was only upset, why the information not provided when I had initially sent mail about my PF withdrawal. why after 10 Months?

Since the mail from DTDC says that, they can't provide the Hard copy.

Might have helped to take this stand against me.

I anticipate cooperation from your end to resolve this for mutual benefit .

>>>>>

I have been co-operative right from my the day , I am sending the mail to PF team to let me know the status from past 10 Months.

If they have co-operated in the begining it self. we would have these many conversations. Moreover, you have been coiped in all the mail communication sent across to PF team. Had you sent same to resend at the begin it self.It would have been a closed chapter.

Feel free to reachout in case of any further queries.

Lastly, I think the Information in the mail provided equally applies to others as well HSDI in the organisation.

I am again clarifying, please don't target me. HSDI is equally involved in this case.

Thanks,

Ravindra S

Hi Shefali,
I have already informed Mr. Karthik that, Is it Mandatory to fix Revenue stamps. Here in Bangalore they are not available.
However, I have given a proof only to showcase when my Integrity was questioned only because of lack of evidence.
Moreover what I had been through for past 10 Months of not being informed about anything on the status of PF withdrawals. After repeated representation through mails. Shows the level of pateience which I had.
My repeated mails where only to support that, I had been correct in all aspects related to my PF withdrawals.
I do hereby personal request not to damage the trust of the Individuals and atleast reply in future to Individuals who have submitted their PF withdrawals/Transfers on their Last working day/they have sent through post.
The above point was only a general request, I being from IT/ITES Industry.

Hi All,

All those people who are visting this thread , some information to related to PF withdrawal.

Plese circulate these Information among your friends/colleagues who are suffering from EX-empolyer not being co-operating with his/her PF withdrawal or Transfer.

Most of the Individuals are thinking that , PF office takes more than a year to depoist your money into account.

Actually it's his/her ex-employer has not filled your forms with respective PF office. As per standard rules - EX-employer has to file your forms after 60 days of you leaving your previous company.

Please keeping in your mind and starting asking your previous employer for the acknowledgement copy received from PF office after 60 days.

usually it will not take more than 90 days for the PF office to depoist the money into your accounts. But PF withdrawal rules says - they will depoist within 30 days on recieving the forms from respective empolyers.

If we all stick to the rules and starting writing the mails to respective PF regional and central offices or by registering the grievance. we will be helping ourselves by standardizing the process of PF transfer/withdrawal.

PF office will put heavy penalty for the defaulting companies.

Once you have logged onto www.epfo.gov.in to register any grievances.

Like to know if the Employer has filled your PF withdrawals or not. Give the complete information of your repeated representation of seeking the status with the employer. Date you have submitted the forms to the employer.

Please get an acknowledgement mail on your last working day, once you have submitted your forms to the HR Team.

Best would be to get a scanned copy of your filled PF forms before handing over to your HR.

The following day, just drop a mail including, the person who has received your PF withdrawal/Transfer forms, your respective Business unit/Vertical HR, reporting Manager and the BU/Vertical Head. Informing them you have submitted your forms and to let you know if all the details have been entered rightly or any other information is required.

This will be proof, hopefully they will not reply in most of cases. But an Individual can chase them to do it once, the employee has finished 60 days of leaving is previous company.

If for any case the forms are taken and submitted by Courier, then please do it through a government speed post/registered post with an acknowledgement card. Wherein the person received the post will sign and send back the acknowledgement. And inform your respective Business unit/Vertical HR, reporting Manager and the BU/Vertical Head. Informing them you have submitted your forms via post/courier and to let you know if all the details have been entered rightly or any other information is required through a mail as well.

If you are sending a Courier, Make sure you are sending from standard courier agencies, DTDC,DHL - were you can get the proof of delivery from website or write mail to them to give the acknowledgement / proof of delivery after 2-3 days of sending the courier.

I have pasted below few of FAQ’s related to PF submission. These details are available in FAQ tab of www.epfo.gov.in
