Dear HR Professionals,
My name is Jyoti I am an MBA (HR and Marketing) with around 3.0 Yrs of Experience in the field of HR currently working in Webdesiging Company as a HR Executive. Bangalore.
I am taking care of End to End Recruitment Sourcing, scheduling, coordinating with Technical Panel, Induction, and Joining Formalities till Exit Interviews,Employee relation & Employee Engagement and Motivation.
I am not Familiar with Generalist role about HR Policies ,Apprisals ,etc etc.
I dont know what I have to do now kindly help me in this and I am interested in Generalist role even I am looking for change also if i get in the same Field..
I am ready to learn from Basics about Generalist Roles.
Please Guide me

Hi,
Working in IT sector, u cannot learn the complete role of HR .. its good if u look for a job in manufacturing sector where u can play a general HR role.. also u can learn everything there starting from entry to exit level of an employee including emp. engagement, performance management,HR Polices, man power planning, pay roll process and statutory compliances etc...
initially Aim out for small manufacturing sectors , try to learn everything and then switch over to big MNC's...since u have a good exp in IT industry, u can b a quick learner there.
