my regards to everyone..citehr has always helped the seekers with valuable advices and suggestions...i need your help now. i was working in an engineering college for the last one year...had to leave the college in the middle of the session for some personal reason. though i did not gave any prior notice,i completed the entire portion, have replaced myself with another candidate..did all that i can so that my students and management do not suffer with. The problem is the management is not returning back my original certificates .i have even paid them one month of salary. but yet they are not returning back my certificates.what should i do..plz help..i just cant let my certificates go like this...i have not signed any bond nor did we get any appointment letter.plz friends and seniors, do advice me what to do...

Feel sorry for you, you must have got returned the documents before paying due in leu, this is were peoples not realising that thier properties with the organisations to be got back
you can go and sit directly in front of Vice chancellor and ask for certificate
or if the management wants you to join again, you put an agreement to get return the original certificate and then join with proper appointment letter, then join and after a month you leave the organisation without notice
even this fails you can file a case against the college management or do you have photocopy of certificaate then Put FIR as you lost certificate and also put an adv. in news papers that you certificate is lost puting your certificate no., keeping this FIRs and go back to university to apply for duplicate and get the duplicate copy and forget the old one
this is your learning and do not do this in future

Further to Manthra's post..do keep everything in writing. ..request the certificates them in writing...and take acknowledgement and wait for reply..after followup for 4- 5 times..and you may take route what manthra has said..

you will not be able to have back the deposit slip.
neverthelsess,, you can go to site where all the payments done can be viewed, if your payment is reflecting that means the payment has been updated in their records. you can just keep a screen shot and print the same for your records.
