Dear professional,
The below is a outcome of team suggestion, fully tried and tested spray. and we have been able to control 90% menace in our factory building sprayed in 13 acres of area. We have conistently won FIRST Prize in our TPM Activity competetion for 10 months, thereafter the menace was over.
RAW MATERIAL
KEROSINE ,PHENOL, WATER.
For preparation of 5 litre mixture: Take 3 liters of water+ 1/2 litre phenol and 1.5 litre of Kerosine. Shake the mixture for some time and store in 5 littre plastic can. spray the mixture on all points/areas . The mixture acts like a JALIM DAWA.
The efect last for 30 days. Hence, keep up the conistency of spraying every 28/29 days and the menace will be over.

The solution suggested by Sunil Sardar is not congenial to the health as well as other hazards.
The best is to Whitewash with added dose of Borax and Camphor. Say 50 gms of borax in 10 kg of lime. You can add 30 gms of camphor too. This will make the place hygienic too. It will give you a long term Solution from almost all pests.
If you see the problem recur early, you can spay the borax solution only. All pests will run away or die.
This is completely harmless to humans.

Dear Colleagues,
I go with Surendera M.Bhanot to prevent the Cobweb,
However even his whitewash method also will not be helpful for Export oriented Food industries, I have worked as Production manager in One of the Leading Egg powder manufacturing and Exporting factory. But we have a good infrastructure and maintained good house keeping (believe we spent 45000Rs for Tissue paper (to wipe hands after wash)alone/month.
I strongly believe there should be exclusive 5S team in Food industry.
However cleaning frequency of cobwebs depends on the type of Industry

What I have given was a economical way to prevent the pest problem in general industry.
For Food/Pharma industry, we recommend the Coating of all the surfaces with the Chlorinated Rubber admixed with the Epoxy system every six months. It is also recommended that the moisture may be wiped off every now and then to prevent the fungus growth in such Industries. Installation of dehumidifiers is also recommended.

Go in for a coating of the Chlorinated Rubber Paint Coating. This paint is not costly (Rather cheaper than the 1st Quality Enamel Paint). It is not only the anti-pathogen, but is is anti-corrosive too. It will save you MS Sheets from industrial corrosion. It is available in many colours to suit your requirements. Industry usually use Smoke Grey, Light Grey or White Paint. It is available as Industrial Paint and the reputed companies manufacture it. If you have any difficulty in procuring the same, you can contact Innovation Coatings Pvt. Limited Chandigarh at .

Dear sir,

Mine is also a press tool component industry engaged manufacturing of automotive parts and there is no remote possibility of any fire due the fact that the mixture contains water . Further, this exercise is mostly taken on weekly off day. Since you must be also following a weekly maintenance calender ]The purpose of these 3 constituents is 3 way. The first is because of water contents (that is the viscosity of water) the mixture gets absorbed in wall surface easily. [ to prove me wrong you can only administer Phenol and observe how fast it get absorbed as compared to water.] The second is the phenyl itself, which is the main attacking stuff and the 3rd Kerosine becuase its fumes last in those corner for a considerable period as compared to phenol Over and above these cowebs are mostly at the roof level. We have been using the same from last 3-4 years. This combination is cheap as compared to any other suggested by my collegeu above. The only care that is to be taken is one has to fix ladder near the spot and the spray is to be administered atleast from a distance of 2-3 feet. The person may wear surgical handgloves and may cover his face with thin white cloth like ODHANICloth so that even if the cowebs happen to fall on the face by mistake, there is no possibility of rubbing with one's skin. However, this is not the only way. You are free to adopt the other costly ways as suggested by the other professionals.
