Dear Senthil D.,
Under section 7(4) of The Factories Act, 1948 we are required to sent intimation to the concerned CIF on appointment of new factory manager as per the procedure as laid down in the applicable Factory Rules. We are also required to apply for amendment in Factory Licence if there happens to be any change in the particulars of licence e.g. change of occupier etc. but we have not seen any provision which says that we are required to sent any intimation to the CIF or Inspector of Factories when there is a change in list of directors.
Opinion/comment submitted as requested.
