Hi everyone,

I am an MBA student currently doing my internship in an IT solutions firm. My project topic is compensation management. If anyone has any information on how to approach this project, what data is required, please do let me know.

Additionally, I would appreciate it if anyone with previous project reports on the same topic could please forward them to me. Thank you.

Thanks a lot. That was very useful. Any more ideas on how to go about this project would be great. What I have done till now is:

I decided to do the project through a questionnaire which will be posed to:
- the HR department (employer representative)
- a few employees, if possible.

I had a few queries like:
1. Should I ask the employees as well, or must I limit myself to the employer perspective?
2. I am planning to conduct this questionnaire in around 3-4 more IT companies. But will they be so forthcoming about giving their salary details?
3. And if I include the employee's perspective, will I have to do the same in the other companies? This would be very difficult, right?

I hope you can help me solve my queries. Thanks a lot.
