Dear All,
Greetings of the day..
One of my friend who left a reputed company applied for the withdrawal of his PF amount which is Rs.12000. He filled all the required forms for its withdrawal like form 19 &10c etc one year ago but still he is not able to get his PF amount. He asked the HR person about it who told him that he has forwarded his application and forms for withdrawal but he don't know why the amount has not been sanctioned...when my friend checked his application status he got to know that his application has not been received yet. He asked me to give suggestion but I am not very sure that how to tackle his problem ...can anybody help???
Thanks & Regards,
Pooja

Ms.Pooja,
Tell your friend to fill afresh form19 and 10C and attach the copy of bank pass book attested by the previous employer. Ask for the acknowledgement from EPFO for the receipt of Withdrawal Forms ( after submitting the withdrawal forms). Then your friend will get the EPF amount for sure.
IF you have more doubts then email me.
Thanking you

Thanks a lot Vignesh...I believe this information provided by you is definitely going to help my friend...but i have one question that can he submit these forms along with the copy of attested bank pass book directly to the EPFO or he has to submit the same to the HR of the previous company? As I have mentioned that the HR of that company is not giving favorable response...and from whom he can ask for acknowledgment receipt? can you guide me regarding this??
Regards,
pooja

Dear Ms.Pooja,
Yes, Your friend can get the Forms(19 & 10C, 3A) duly signed by the employer (previous employer) including the attestation in the Copy of Bank Passbook and directly submit it in the EPFO (PF Office) and get the acknowledgement from the PRO / any concerned officer in the EPFO.
Thanking you
