i just wanted to ask for some advice regarding my problem...my employer ask me to resigned since they don't have any grounds to terminate me...they told me that if i will not resign they will put a case on me so that i will be imprisoned...i was afraid since my company has a reputation of making cases against employees so i agreed to what they want...i signed the resignation on the spot and all the necessary documents they needed to cancel my visa and my connection with the company...there is no 30 days notice from that day they told me to resigned and after signing the documents i was ordered to leave the premises of the company and they didn't even gave me my salary for that month...i waited 3 weeks for my final pay which they told to me they will deposit to my payroll account but the problem is the company informed the bank of my end of service now the bank freezes my account i can't access it and take my money so that i can go home...the bank is asking for a termination letter so that they can unfreeze the account but my employer is refusing to give it since they told me i signed a resignation letter...now i don't know what else to do in order to take my money from the bank...i am now overstaying since my employer cancelled my visa...please advice...thanks

Hello roryleigh,
First of all, approach the Indian High Commission/Embassy IMMEDIATELY.
Put it on record to them of what happened--so that it can be used if you land into trouble later for your overstay.
Get out of the place ASAP--in the worst-case I think your life is more important than the money--unless they took your Passport too.
