Out of all the suggestions, I can suggest you how to start this session of Active Listening.
Tyr and play this game with the group.
Pick one perosn randoma nd tell him a word, Say for example , Umbrella
Now he has to decibe the same to others with code language:
* he can use only alphabetts with direction
* Geometrical figures with positions.
Let the team scriblle whatever they can interpret and then declare the winner as the one who could draw the figure.
Try this out :
1.Make the concave semi circle
2. join the two ends with multiple semi circles of small radius
3. with the centre most small semi circle, drop an alphabet j
4. on the top of the big semicircle, place a cone
This will surely trigger their minds and ears to focus on the objective of the lecture
