Dear All,
I would appreciate if you could clear my doubt over the calculation of Training Mandays. Is there a standard formula or there is variation from industry to industry.
Please let me know the details as soon as possible.
Thankyou

There are variations from organisation to organisation.
One can calculate Total Training Mandays and express it as Percentage of Total Number of Employees at the beginning of the year. Alternatively, express it as Percentage of Total Employees Trained.
First approach appears more acceptable. Let us listen to others views.

Hello Hirald. If you mean participant days spent in training, simply multiply the number of days of training by the number of training participants.
For example, if the training is for half a day and there are 50 participants:
Man Days = 0.5 X 50 = 25 person days
