Hey Suriti,
I think you should take up a crash course on Advance HRM course from good consultancy based in your city.
They will surely update the required knowledge with core HR activities like Recruitment, Generalist functions (appraisal, pms etc), Payroll and other Admin/MIS activities related to HR.
So look for better option there as it may be may for 1 month with 1-2 hrs daily.
It will update your knowledge and make you confident regarding to proving your experience.

Dear Suriti,
Its good that you have decided for an skill - up-gradation . Please plan it accordingly . As Anil have shared , please read the material and prepare yourself even before you enroll for the course. A course would handhold you in certain areas. You will have to work on your knowledge level. Make a list of all the skill sets and start reading and blogging/micro blogging on them. It would get your concepts clearer. Once your certification starts fine tune your learning and seek information even beyond your role through interactions with others.Ensure experiential learning. Keep asking question here in CiteHR in the area your are working and increase your knowledge level . Find yourself a mentor who will help you in getting your knowledge accurate.
Wish you all the best.
