Dear friends,
May I know what is minimum period of service to claim one's PF amount?
I mean is there any rule that a person should work for a specific period to be eligible to get his PF amt?does it differs from company to company?
One more question is....Can we apply for PF after 4-5 yrs after leaving the organisation?

There is no specified limit to get the PF amount, after 3 months leaving the company will be liable to claim.

Dear S Kumar,
The company where there are 20 or more employees working, making PF contribution is mandatory for the employers @ 12% of Basic of employees salary Or 12% of Rs.6500 max. Its an statutory obligation.
You should talk about this to your HR Or MD.
Thanks
Hema
