i used to work for e-serve intl in mumbai for 9 months in and left on 20th june 2005. have not withdrawn my pf yet and they have not proved me with a pf account number. how can i claim this amount. am i eligible for the interest. can i send a letter to the company asking for the annex of the deposit made and the accumulation

An employee whoes ever salary is been Deduct can apply for provident fund any time in there life time .Write a letter to your previous organization asking for provident fund number fill form 10c & 19 and send to them .You can get these forms from EPFO see the site for more information.

Thanx for the reply.. i live in bangalore now not in mumbai.. and i don't know my pf account number.. i left mumbai in march 2010 and before leaving the city i had gone there and submitted the forms.they returned the form asking me so many documents like my pan card, voters id card, relieving letter, photo id verification from the bak that also not a salary account.
why do they need all these?
i just dont think thay want to give it to me.
and i have only one account now which is my salary account..whats the peoblem in getting money transferd to that bank..??.. also am i eligible to receive my companies contribution also?since its been 5 yrs???

A big question: Since then don't you have any documents to prove your identification?
You are only require to provide any 2 valid identification proof... i.e. photo-id and residential id. You can submit any valid id from the options available and not all the documents.
Further in today's modern world it's not that difficult to open any saving account. Many banks account can be open with a few mouse clicks over the internet itself. You don't even need to go to their bank. The bank will come to you.
One bank is such Axis Bank with whom I have opened the account with very few documents.
I would suggest... don't waste time.. fulfill the needs and get it done. You can also take the help of someone who you know in Mumbai.

hey. i do have a pancard with me... and i have salary account with axis bank..
but the documents wht they have metioned says tht it should not be a salary account.. i dont have any other account....
and i can also get a photo id verification from bank.. and also i had kept some photocopies of my e-serve company id card which i found yesterday..,can i furnish all these?
