Hi,
I have been made to sign a plain paper letter stating that: never in my life will I join/give consultancy to any company in the same product lines that i have developed during my employment with this 'company A' nor will I approach any of its customers and agents.
For 5 years i have been employed in different industrial segments and so was OK,but now after 5 yrs i applied for a job (since i was unemployed) and company selected me but which had the same productline as 'company A'. Based on my undertaking can i be liable for breach of undertaking.

Hi designerpro 10 You may very well join the new company. Your undertaking given to Company A is bad in law and will not constitute any breach. Best Jai.
