Hello Seniors,
Need an advice. We have currently terminated one of our employee due to certain reason. we have emailed him a termination letter. However after 2 days of giving the termination letter,he is now giving us his resignation letter. Seniors please advice should we reply to his mail saying that he has been already terminated.
Thanks & Regards,

hi
on what grounds was he terminated ....?
look if he was asked to leave the organisation , there is no way he can submit his resignation or his letter stands no where .....dont worry just tell him that the organization had already terminated him.....but u need to check ur termination policy, coz lotta organisation when terminating have to pay 1 or 2 months salary ..but if he terminated on misconduct or misbehavior grounds then no ways

Dear Priya,
In My work place when I had to handle termination cases I opted to give them an option. If they were ready to put up their papers the we were okie with it. But while going for the discussion itself i carried the termination letter as well as a blank paper if the person wants to resign. I do this just thinking about their career.
I would say u should have thought about this before sending the mail. Now also discuss with your boss and if the organisation is okie accept the resignation and relieve the person.
Rest u can decide!
