Dear Friends,
I am HR EXECUTIVE in medical billing BPO company, we are detecting ESI for employees, But no one employees not use ESI facilities. So we planned implemented employee group insurance. If we implement group insurance, we can avoid ESI detection for employee and employer... its possible

Hi Jayabalan,
You are right that BPO employees are not availing ESIC benifits. Employee group insurance is good however ESIC is a regulatory. If you calculate company expencess dose not effect by opting for employee group insurance. At other hand employee will not get that much benifits by employee group ensurance.
In your company; employees are eligable for esic menas they are getting below 10,000/- I think going with ESIC will benifial for employees as they may get good benifits like 'leave with pay' and 'low cost medical services' by Govt of India.

Thanks for your reply, I know very well about ESIC benefits but our employees not utilizing properly. No one going to ESIC hospital for any treatment. So i feel wast of money both side. That's why we planning for group insurance.
Another person told go to workman compensation, I am not aware about workman compensation. kindly guide briefly

Dear Friend,
ESI is statutory liability and not Choice, if it is applicable in your organisation then u can not opt for avoiding it, so far you are not giving better facilities than ESI.
U can not even go for WC Policy
