I am a MMS student and i am doing a project on job satisfaction. Please tell me the different ways to measure job satisfaction and also a format to present the data. It would be nice of you to suggest a book if any for the same.

Hi Arpita,
The best way is to design a questionaire covering all the essential aspacts of employment through which you can feel the pulse of the organization. Select randomly a group so that u can cover all levels of employees within the organisation or the level which u want to focus.
Do this exercise and i assure u that u will get the accurate Employee Satisfaction Measurement.
I will suggest u some more good toos to measure Employee Satisfaction and even some books soon.

Hi Arpita,
you have to arrange questions in a manner that some question should be positive and some should be negative...
Like if you have designed questions and the answer is - Yes or No and for this you have given 1 marks for yes and 0 for No. Then you have to put some question in a manner that for yes the marks should be 0 and for no the marks is 1.
I hope you will understand what I'm trying to say!
