Dear Ankush,
It’s good to find that you are considering the technological avenue in HR. You have worked in almost all the areas of HR Operations. Hence it should make your knowledge in this area sound. Since you want to get certified in SAP HR Module, I suggest you take your next assignment in that particular company where SAP is used. In this role you would get to work in the SAP User end module, which will make you a better SAP HR Functional Consultant once you are certified. You may require to work in PA20, PA30, PA40 and draw reports using a logic from time to time. Many of the HR Professional I knew earlier had done this course and is successfully placed. Though the hiring for SAP HR since the recession have been skewed towards experience professionals. Wish you all the best.

Dear Ankush,
(Cite Contribution) idea is good because by course it is very expensive find a company where SAP modules are availabale or not then go ahead some company having SAP but they do't have HR modules.

Dear Members,

I searched a lot about SAP, but I have few confusions

From Seimens and other authorised partners FEES FOR CERTIFICATION is 1.5 lakh starting upto 3.5 lakh,

but other unauthorised institutes which provide only coaching, they charges 25 to 30,000.

I heard from my friends that if you have certification, only then you'll receive the interview calls.

Right now my budget is not of 1.5 lakh

If I'll take the coaching from an unaothorised but GOOD institute, I'll learn what the SAP is nd if I'll be able to crack the interview, I'll get the practicle knowledge aswell.

I think certification is the priority but if some one is having experience he'll get the job and later on I'll do the certification aswel.

Dear seniors plz help me out and guide me what I should do.

Is certification is compalsory to get a job even if someone is having good knowledge but not the degree.

Planning to take coaching from Webcom or Skyinfotch in delhi for 30,000 and if it's not worth then please let know I'll take the loan for certification from JKT in gurgaon charging 1.5 lakh.

Regards,

Ankush Thakur
