Dear Sir/Madam,
I was working for an organization in New Delhi for more than 2 and a half years and due to some personal reasons, I had to quit this job, which I did after serving full notice period.
On my last day in office (5th October 2009) I had submitted PF withdrawal forms to the HRD stating them that it is very urgent for me to get the money liquidated. I contacted the HRD of my ex-organization to get the status of PF withdrawal, and they replied that the form can be submitted to the PF office only after 60 days to which I agreed.
Now when I queried them about the status, they replied me that it will take 5 more months for the monry to be liquidated to my savings account.
I presume that the PF is meant for employee's us and they can withdraw it in emergencies, and now I am having emergencies, do I need to wait for 8 months to get the PF money on my account?
Also, three years back, I had resigned from a company without serving the notice period, now they say that they will not release my PF amount as I had left the company without serving the notice period. Can they stop my PF release? I am need of money right now.
Please advise....

Hi... It does take 60 days before a company can submit the PF details to EPFO - kindly check on the status of your form, as to whether the company has submitted your details to EPFO???

Vikram,
Only way I can see is you visiting the RPFC where your employer has submitted the form and checking with them...don’t forget to carry PF number, also if your employer has the acceptance form receipt...
As per my previous experience normally within 2 months PF amount is credited to account
Tow month from the submission date....
Or
if you lucky enough you might get someone who will ask for money & get your cheque.....
Regards
Rohit

Dear Mr. Vikram,
Good Afternoon!!!
The PF withdrawl form can be sent to PF office only after 60 days from the date of resignation. Post that PF office takes approximately 45 working days to clear the same. (60 calender days). So by the time you receive the PF in your account, it is 4 months from the date of resignation, provided the form is sent by your employer on time.
You can check the accumulated amount by talking to your company PF consultant / PF office by mentioning your PF number
Thanks & regards
