I have currently joined an IT company which has been in existence for 3 years. Currently, they are thinking of getting the ISO certification for quality and have asked me to collect the details of how to apply and all. SO, I really need your help. I myself don't have much idea about ISO. So, seniors urgently need your help. Priyanky

Dear Priyanky, You can start by looking at the web site of SAI Global (Standards, Compliance, Ethics, GRC, Auditing, Certification, Training). Then look at the tools available from Qudos Management (ISO9001 Quality, OHS, ISO14001 Environmental software & services | Qudos). Both were used by my company - Project Professionals Group) to secure ISO accreditation recently.

"Say What You Do and Do what You Say"- Concept of ISO.
First of all you have to prepare a Quality Manual-comprising of quality policy, quality objectives, company procedures, checklist, process flow and procedure for various departments & their departmental objectives, organisation chart,Management responsibilty,Resource Management,Product realization,Measurement, analysis & improvement via corrective action request.
My sincere advice for you is that appoint one person each for individual departments. The relevant person will prepare the flow & document the procedure.Take a span of time and gather all the documents from each department & then go for compiling Quality Manual, which is more practical & will come out with good suggestions.
I have been working on ISO for around 8yrs & have implemented & got the certification for my previous organisations.
Make it a point, while getting the certification it should be a team work & it leads to more success.I have worked with 3 certifying bodies BVQI,AQA,SGS.Every where the system says the samething-"Say What You Do and Do what You Say".
I have attached a registration form from one of the certifying body, you can contact them directly or mail them for future guidance.
