Hi,
I wanted to understand how different is the Leave policy compared to ISO standards and Indian Leave policy?
In the previous article, 240 days calculation is showed, how is this calculation done and when it is a leap year what is the calculation?
Which list do we have to refer for Holidays (Festive and Non festive) Govt, State Govt, Central Govt?
What is the TQM Leave policy
Thanks and Regards,
Manu

Dear Manu,
There are no ISO Standards on leave. ISO only says that you have to follow law of the land which indirectly means that if your leave policy is violative of any law then ISO people can also question it, otherwise not.
Similarly there is no Indian or TQM Leave Policy.Principle of 240 days has come from Factories Act. Please go thru it to find out how the calculation is done.
As regards holidays, every State Government comes out with a notification as to the minimum number of holidays which need to be declared as holidays in that state by the factories, you have to follow that notification.
