Hello Sir,
I was working with a private bank previously. I served there for more than 1.5 years and left witout serving notice period due to personal reasons.
Now I do not have any pf account number or establishment code. Bank HR is asking me to forget about my PF. Salary slip is showing my empoyee id as my pf account number.
Please note that I am now working with another firm with new pf account and old employer will not consent the withdrawal. Is there any way out?
Please help.

Dear Honey,
No body can kept your PF account or withdraw it without your cocern. Its your right and their prime duty.
First you should contact with your prev organisation and get your Full and final settlement.
as per your statement you have not given any notice period, may be there would be some amount due on you,pay them throuh check or cash.
After that fill form 19 for withdraw of your PF account or fill form 13, if you want to transfer to your new PF account. I would suggest to transfer it to your new account, because continuity of your membership will remain maintained.

Dear Honey,
As per PF statute if u are unemployed then only u can withdraw your PF money from the previous employer but if are serving another company u have to get your previous PF accumulation transferred to you current PF account by submitting F 13 thro your present employer. The matter is very simple . Give your past employer's name and address and your past PF number to your present employer and request them to get the money transferred to your current PF account.
