Pls let me know d diference b/w salary slip & salary statement. as i have attended an interview recently and they asked me to prepare the salary statement. Bt i got confused.
Pls help me in this. Thank u all:lol:

HI Naveen,
Pay slip is given to each and every employee in the organisation. For pay slip each and every company maintains their own standards.
Salary statement is the summary of the salary details which is been managed by the concerned person. The salary statement will be having every employees salary details in single sheet.
I believe as I am rite. Any comments welcome.

This is wrong which suggestation given by jeeva. Salary slip means this has to be issued (Form no IV) to all the employee according to wage act.
Salary register means this is very important to maintain accoding to wage act. (form no VI).
For more detail pls read or refer the 1)minimum wage act or 2) Wage act (central).

Hi Folks,
I have attached salary statement which I have prepared last month; I need some clarifications regarding the basic pay. Is there any format or formula to calculate BASIC, Professional tax, TDS etc.
Need to know how to form salary structure CTC.
I have attached Excel sheet with 3 different sheets of statements, kindly help me out.
