Dear Friends,
With your busy schedule can you take out some time & clarify the below mentioned things. It will be a great help if you could provide the information.
1. What is the probationary period for positions like Project Manager & General Manager etc.
2.If the probationary period is 6 months, during the period he is not eligible for any leaves. If any leave is taken that will be LWP. Once the probationary period is completed, how to credit the leaves & please let me know the standard rule in crediting the leaves to employee’s account.

The probabtion period may vary from 3 to 1 year as per the requirement of the industry and the area in which industry is in. You have to take your own call. Secondly one should have practice and procedure which are help ful to employee and giveing leaves depends on the procedure u adopt.
As prevailing we provide leaves CL and SL from the first day of joining on prorata basis taking into account in respect to calendar year.

Hello Nagraj...
When you are at entry level...the Probation Period is high and it can be anything between 6 mnths to 1 year. As you grow high in the cadre...probation period can be minimum but anytime it can be anything between 3 mnths to 6 mnths.
Yes, company policy during probation period is different. Different companies have different policies. But most of the companies allow 2 days per mnth leave for people who are on probation.
Once they get cofirmation they get leaves on pro-rata basis. Suppose the company have a policy of giving 30 days leave to the confirmed employee in a calander year. So, if a person joins in Jan. and completes his probation in June. He will get 15 days leave.
I am sure this will help.
