A very important message is given below and is good for all to know:
PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM
recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed
in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the
robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is
seldom used because people don't know it exists.
Please pass this along to everyone possible.

This is really a good info.But i have one query.
If the PIN NO is 1111 or 2222 something like that please inform how we can revert the no and in this case how the ATM will know that we are in probelm :?:

Dear Ashwini,
That is a good query. I really donot know. But two things I can tell you. First it is not advisable to put these kind of numbers as PIN (which is advised by the service provider). Second, this facility is available, i believe people with PINs having same number will not be able to avail the facility.
