I want to know that what is the parameters for membership in PF scheme.
If any Company registered with EPFO, Is it necessary that to deposit the PF of all employee.
IF employee drawing basic salary more than Rs. 6500/- is necessary to join membership in PF.
Pl. give answar of the above, for which I shall be highly thankfull.

1. if an organisation has 10 or more employees it has to be registered with EPFO
2. p.f is calculated as 12% of basic + da upto limit of 6500/- only and any employee can volunatary contribute additional 18% of his basic + da but the employer is not liable to make cont over the statutory limit of 12%

dear if company is registered under PF than employees whose basic+DA is less than 6500 at the time of joining are required to be made member of PF. regards j s malik

We need to get registered with PF voluntarily. Can you please let me know the Rule/Section under which it is mentioned that at the time registration it is required to made members only those who are drawing BASIC+DA less than Rs. 6500/-. If any one who is drawing more than Rs. 6500/- can be a member voluntarily ?
