Hi,
If you are palnning to join correspondance then Symbiosis is the best institute to complete MBA. And it is recognised as 5th position in India. There are some university's which do not have recognition if the course is correspondence. but Symbiosis Institute for Distance Learning has the value. Can think of it.

Hi Om,
The course that you should persue should be one that adds value to your career & also in the field that's of interest to you. The best judge for that would be yourself.
Incase you want to do any course through distance learning then Symbiosis can be a good choice.
Hope you are able to take your decision.
All the best

Dear OM,
Fisrst of all, why do U want to pursue MBA?
If it is for hire package in current organisation, U wud be disappointed.
If U want to switch over, then what is the area U are interesetd in (as in HR, Ops etc.). Accordingly U shud decide the specialisation.
As far as regular or correspondence is concerned, go for correspondence becoz U hav enough experience to learn the practical aspects of work conditions and theoritical part will be covered by correspondence.
As Piscion said, SCDL is the best inst. for MBA correspondence.
Morover, derz no big difference if its MBA or PGDM or any equivalent course.
Cheers,
Devashish.

Hello,
Please find out what your career objective is and where you are more passionate about.
We can look at in two ways - one is to work for earning money
second - By working in thearea you are passionate
In case one: Where u r working for money:
You dont do what you love doing (and ultimately) what you are the best at. May be you are a peoples person by nature and feel passionate about the HR job - but ultimately chose an ops profile - as u feel the chances of earning are higher - in this case - you keep moving with no proper self direction or lack of choice from within.
Case 2: Doing what you love
This looks nice - I mean you do what you are passionate about - you work hard and use ur creative ability. You know your strong points and you ultimately know how to have an edge over others in teh same area- because its mixed with passion and desire for achievement.
So you set the path for urself and you make some one else pay for what you want (a good pay becos u r good at ur task)
------
When thinking abt doing and MBA - think what you will gain through academia, that you may not "iimediately" gain with hands on experience. That is - jus by reading the book, it will be of no help - but knowing how to solve certain issues - may be taught thru academia
Other than HR labor laws and acts - everything else must be only thru hands on learning experience. Why not go in for a seperate Labor Law course for a year - so that you are aware of the labor laws, and also have a proof of certficate for course completion?
I think you could chose MBA - Operations and also learn on a Planning Sotware like Primavera. It will be very very helpful.
Regarding full time or part time or distance education - pls see what is viable in ur case. Are u in a position to dedicate two years completely on the course?
If yes - great - go ahead
If no - still no problem - look for a course from a reputed institute.
These are my opinions.. kindly think deep b4 acting on any of the above

Hi Om,
Greetings for the day!
After looking into your experience, it seems that you should always go for Operations, as you have got maximum experience, but again it depends upon your interest level as well. As per my view, you can enhance your career growth in operations by doing MBA.
Ask yourself, what do you prefer most as a long term future.
Feel free to revert.

Dear Sankalp You better do a MBA in HR rather than a operation from Symbiosis Institute. HR have a lot of scope than a opern.
