Dear All,
Now a days, many of the interview board/panel members are focussing on the strengths and the weaknesses.
Is it necessary or not to focus them.
How to highlight both of them and overcome methodologies.
Pls do revert back with your valuable suggestions

Dear Katyayani,
Ya its an important factor for them to know your strengh and weaknesses as they need to offer a position to you and its really required that you are a rRIGHT candidate which means with right attitude and also right skill set and also for you to highlight your strenghs rather then weaknesses.
Katyayani, we all do have some or the other weakness but the beauty is how to be very effective in front of the management. Be positive and win the game.
Cheers,

dear kayatani
strenght and weakness are vary from persons to person .It also have a different methods to observe the strenght and weakness.
Most important thing is that the individual have to know their own strenght and weakness .then he /she can remove his/her weakness ,or work with the strenght .
Form others you can find out a different opinion from differnet people .So you have to decide this your own methods and find out the strenght and weakness of yourself
thanks
regards

Dear Katyayani,
The topic is very interesting and important alos. How u project yourself for the few minutes in the interview carries a lot of value. If u r describe your weakness, it should put across as a strength. For Eg. you can say that being perfectionist and organised are your weakness where u can enlighten it by saying that u get worried when the others do not adhere to it.
It always matters how you deliver the message rather than its contents.
All the best!

dear friends,
Choose the right candidate for the Organisation...is the .ultimate aim of interview.
hence, besides your educational, experience i...etc. your personality, apptitude, approach are immensly focussed.
I came to know about a incident which i would like to share with people (you may be knowing earlier)
During one interview...
coffee was served to a candidate
then question was raised "what is before (U)'
he replied (T)'
his reply was accepted and appreciated.
so as said earlier, indeed we have weakness....but our strength lies how we convert those weakness such a way that we win the game.
wishes
