Hi Anjali,
If any orgnisation, don't have the registration in esic, but they are deducting the contribution of same from the employees.
So, they are keep that amount in their custody, but, when they are registred in same, so that time they have to pay the whole (from first deduction to last ) duration amount to the esic with employer's share as well as damage charges & intrest charges for the late payment.
Damage & intrest charges is depend on number of days late.
if they are deducting the esic, it mean they know is that, their orgnisation comes under the esic act or applicable for the same. So, they have to register the same on urgent basis. May be they are working on that?, or they have already applied for it?.
Your second doubt. you will not eligible for the getting any benefit under the same act. till date, they have not register & paid the payment to esic.
Thanks,
Tushar swar.
