as per Factories Act and Shops and Establishment Act, can you clarify that the lunch time includes in the working hours i.e 8 hours per day or including lunch it is 8 and 1/2 hours.

Lunch hours does not include in 8 hours. It is excluding 8 hours. After 4-5 hours you have give a lunch break. After lunch remaining 3-4 hours employee has to work. Factories Act/Shops and Establishment Act has given provision for break, but it cannot be included in working timings.
