Creche facility in Factory
As per the provisions under Section 48 of the Factories Act, 1948 any factory employing 30 or more women workers are required to provide creche facilities for the use of children under the age of 6 years for the women employees
is it any ratification in the same?????????????

Here the number of children of women workers are not counted. (in Plantation Labour Act the number of children of women workers are also a matter for criterion) When the number of women workers decrease from a figure of 30 to some thing less than that, you cannot take away the creche from the factory. This is as per the Act. But the ratification to the provision is that in the absence of it this welfare matter will be completely ignored by the employer.
