Human Resources functions are changing and taking a big curve to not only support and run the business but initiate the Business, making that smooth...big....bigger and biggest, acquiring big talents and making them bigger ones, Developing the talents and retaining them to face the various challenges. I strongly believe that Employees are the greatest asset for any corporate or in other words human being are the greatest creature made till date.
From the beginning of the world, it is considered and it will remain the same. Unfortunately when the people came into existence, he first decided to think about the outside world, about the air, about the water, about the sky, about the rain. He took a large number of years to understand the outside world and then found that in the time spent, he did not think about himself. He then started to think and thus various Social Groups, Communities are formed. Later on Societies, Communities, Region, Religion came into existence and thus Corporate.
We are here because of our thoughts, because of our progression. I believe that progression should always be Geometrical, except a few cases, and for this we need strong capability, capacity, dare to think beyond, stamina to work in any situation, foresightedness and Talent to see across the sky..... We are made to think big.
A few days ago, I met an Entrepreneur who is in the business of Retail & FMCG. I remember we were discussing about the talent. We were discussing about acquisition, development and retention of talent.
This discussion took almost 2 hours and we were left with a few challenges for the acquisition of the talent.
Talent Acquisition has always been a big task for all HR Managers and it will remain like this. The definition of the talent keeps on changing from time to time. Todays, the scenario has changed, businesses are changing, corporates are changing, work methodologies are changing.
To win the race, we need strong capability to run, to focus and to determine the goal.
