Can anybody help me about termination procedure. The legal side of termination. How many notice required minimum to avoid litigation.

Dear HRs,
Kindly clarify me on the following points :
1 If a Management terminates the services of a probationer as per appointment order giving him only the salary for the days he worked during the month of termination. Is it right ? Whether he is not eligible for EL, SL as he has put in more than 240 days of work during the probation period.
His full and final settlement will include the above leave benefits or not<
Please clarify.
