Hi!! Can anyone suggest how to calculate man days of training Regards Anusha
From Singapore, Singapore
Hello Anusha, Are you talking about person days of development time to design and develop a training program? Or are you talking about participant days spent in training. If it is the latter, simply multiply the number of days of training by the number of training participants.
For example, if the training is for half a day and there are 50 participants:
Person Days = 0.5 X 50 = 25 person days
I hope this helps.

Hello Vicki,
I checked ot your website and it had some good information.
Despite the info I looked up in your website, I want to ask you a question about the e-learning man days.
We are planning to implement the e-learning platform in our company but i dont know what specific weight i can give to the online learning training sessions.
We usualy engange in one day training events ( work day = 8 hr). i know that the e-learning sessions will not last 8hrs, so how do i calculate the mandays of that specific training? Also, since the content of the e-lerning will be opened for an unlimited time, i will use the mandays once for that specific training.
I would be very greatful to you if you may help me with any complimentary material on e-learning.
Thank you in advance!

Calculate from your Muster roll or wage register. You might be having total present days column in these registers.
