Dear Sonal
I think this is a great opportunity for bonding & enhancing self-esteem. You could have competitions with good prizes as under:
1. Creativity-with Diwali as the theme.
2. A cultural show.
3. An exciting meal.
Depending on the strength of employees, you could divide them into teams of a min 3 & a max of 5 or more; but always an odd no.
Best of luck!!

You can have some competitions- such as table decoration, rangoli, best dressed male & female (traditional dressess) and distribute prizes - 1st & 2nd. If its a small organisation you can also order lunch. Distribute sweets/ gifts to everyone.

First decide the budget - get it approved and then think...How many employees are there...? What is the company setup - is there any place wherein u all can have lunch together..?

First, Get your office decorated with flowers, balloons, rangoli & lamps then you may organize tombola, musical chair etc.... at last lunch/dinner or refreshment (as per budget) & definitely gift or some sweets to employees

Hi Sonal,
You can request all the employees to come in their Ethinic wear and you can arrange for a decent ramp walk in your dept itself. A small stretch to walk atleast 15 steps. The best dressed with the best attitude on the ramp walk would win a prize.
