Dear Priyanka,
Greetings of the day !
You can deduct the amount from salaries if employment strength is equal or more than 20.
Also note that application for registration should be submitted with concerned PF Office of your area.
Please feel free to contact.

Dear Priyanka,
Registration process takes 15-30 days, subject to completion of required documents for registration.
Also you can deduct PF amount from salaries of employees and submit with EPFO after getting registered with the Department.

The Act is applicable from the date an estt. Fulfils the statutory requirements. Its not the wish of employer to start deducting PF from the date of choice. So pl. check up as to when your company employed 20 or more persons including contractor / casual/ daily wager employees. Also to ensure that your company/ estt. is not a unit/ branch of an already covered estt..
For coverage, pl.go online on the website of EPFO

I second Mr. Chandok's view, PF registration is not as per the wish of the company/employer but as per the statute of the Act. As mentioned please check when 20 person were on roll, the PF applicability starts from such date.
