Since 1991 we have been implementing best practices in the form of Quality System, TQM , TPM Lean .. to improve the product and processes of the organization however still the Nation as a whole and Organization in specific , we could not achieve the desired growth rate. We have done little for the employees’ productivity and performance. More we have done to comply the audit and customer requirements than doing actual for the employees competence building. Except implementing Quality circle , Kaizen / Suggestion and so called training programmes nothing much have been done. Still we say HR department has not been able to contribute much. HR has remained more as a system implementer than providing solutions. To survive in this competitive world , we need to focus on employees productivity and performance to run a profitable business.
