Dear Seniors,
Greetings of the day!
Hope you all are doing Good!!
I was just wondering if companies have any policy for employees who join and left the firm just in few days or after a week of joining and then demand salary for the days they stayed in the company.
with the increasing drop outs in new hires immediately after joining, I feel this might be the concern of every employer where mass hiring happens at entry level of positions.
Even if you go with appointment terms and conditions, at times it becomes difficult to get the money recover from candidate. So as a result companies leave that amount and close such cases....
Would like to listen from you all, if any company has such policy where new hires are required to spend minimum time frame to get their first and last dues clear...
Please provide your inputs...would be of learning and enhancing knowledge if we have any other way to deal with such cases other then appointment terms and conditions..
Thanks!

Dear Saunee ji,
Even a person works for one day, he is eligible for salary for that day. You can not deny him, however you can recover the amount towards short notice if any, as per the term of his appointment. Statutory deductions also are to be done from the salary even for one day.
