Dear Folks,
Today as i calculated monthly Employee attrition we go it as 11 % but my Seniors said its too much as per annul attrition is calculated. So Please let me know how is annul attrition rate is calculated and what is the use of doing the same. I calculate monthly employee attrition as (no of employees resigned/existing employees on roll) *100. But what is annual attrition rate and how the same is calculate and what is the use of it.
An early reply is aal awaited...

Dear Raul,
Attrition rate (Annual) = (No. of employees left in the year /Average no. of
employees in the year) * 100
Average no of employees = (Opening Head Count + Closing Head Count) / 2
Hope, this resolves ur query....
Thanx...

Hi,
Plz find the formula.
Calculation of Attriation Rate:
(No.of Attrition*100)/Actual Employee+New Joined/100
Closing Head Count= Opening Balance + New Joinees - Seperations
Opening Balance = Last month closing balance
Annual Attrtion:-- Avg of all months's monthly Attrition %
