I was working with an organization since 7 years, but then I left & joined another organization. After 2 months I applied for withdrawal of my Provident fund amount. However, my application got rejected. The probable reason I assume is that I had not changed my name after marriage in PF accounts. However, I had attached an application & affidavit for the change of my name along with the Withdrawal application form.
Can anyone, please suggest me the next step & How I can take it further.
Thanks

Dear Sir,
I was working in a private Polytechnic in Kanyakumari district, Tamilnadu between 1984 and 2006 and opted for Voluntary Retirement. My PPO No. 100125, [name] Swamidhason Francis; now I'm getting Rs.700/- as monthly pension although my basic salary in 2006 was Rs.13,000/-.
I have two queries:
[1] Will the increase in the rate of PF interest cause any increase in my monthly pension?
[2] I was 50 years old when I left service in 2006; will my EPF pension amount increase after I become 58 in 2014?
Thanks
Swamidhason

Dear Group,
What would be the effective date for a Company to become eligible to award PF benefits to its employees. The PF Laws says once the strength of employee cross 20 nos. the establishment is required to award PF benefits and to comply with the EPF Act. In our case, the first employee of the company joined somewhere in Aug. 2012 and till July 2013 the strength was less than 20. Our 21st nos. employee joined in july end 2013 and therefore the company applied for PF registration in August and got registration in September. The PF dues were calculated from July 2013 and paid before the PF authority as per rule. However, now the PF authorities have asked us to pay the dues Aug. 2012. Whether the notice issued by PF authority is in line with
the applicable provision under EPF Act and whether our company is required to pay the PF benefits from Aug. 2012 when the strength of the employees
was less than 20 till July 2013. Please guide me so that appropriate decision can be taken.
Thanks
