Hello Everyone,
Greetings!
Myself Mr. Hemant and i have recently joined a manufacturing company near to Mumbai. I was been told by my seniors to do a complete research on Contract labor act 1970. Can anyone please guide me which book I have to refer to accomplish my task and to grow my knowledge in contract labor regulation and abolition act 1970.

Dear Hemant,
Satvam Consulting, Mumbai organises public workshop on this subject. You may keep a watch on their training calendar to know when their workshop will be scheduled next.

My suggestion would be the book titled " Commentaries on the Contract Labour( Regulation and Abolition ) Act, 1970" by Shri K.D.Srivatsava. In addition to reading the above book, going through the entire texts of Supreme Court's judgments of the important cases would give the poster a thorough understanding of the system of contract labour from both the perspectives of employer and contract labour.

Dear Hemant,
Research is never based on one or two books. This requires self imagination and deep thought on the issues included in a particular topic, aims and objects of research, self questioning on such issues, study of several peer reviewed literatures to be aware of the views of prominent authors, preparing research questions based on the problems being faced by the organization and to study on the issues pertaining to those problems, preparation of questionnairs for general survey of some selected population or to conduct interviews of some prominent authorities to take their views on such questionnaire to ultimately come to some stragetic findings of the researcher.
By the way, what is your profile om the manufacturing concern and with what aim and object you have been asked to make a research? Ai,less research cannot lead to solving specific issues or problems being faced by the organization.
