Dear Vineet, Normally it is 58 yrs or as mentioned in the appointment letter. There is no such (labour) Act which says about retirement age of employees in private sector.

Dear Sarang,
After 58 yrs the same 12% will be contributed both by Employee as well as employer. But all the 24% goes to EPF account.
The employer contibution of 8.33% of 12% which goes to EPS(Oension) earlier will be stopped and the same will be deposited in EPF account.

The retirement age is governed by one's own applicable service conditions followed by the Employer. However for the purpose
of administration of PF/Gratuity/ESI etc. respective Acts/Rules prescribes certain maximum age as retirement/superannuation
