I'm Aarthy, a MCA graduate. I began my career as an assistant professor. After my marriage, I worked as a Junior HR in a private firm for two years. Currently, I work as a human resources executive for four years. I want to grow my career; do you have any suggestions regarding courses in HR that would boost my career?

Hi, You can do courses like MBA HR /MSW/ Diploma courses in Labour Laws etc. These courses will be added advantage to our career. Equally important is gaining practical work experience in HR.

Dear member,

There are a large number of HR professionals who are confused about their careers. The confusion has come up because they did not make a career plan for their career. However, before making a career plan, it is better to do a SWOT Analysis of oneself.

Anyway, to give a suggestion on your career growth, I can say that rather than getting into hardcore HR, I recommend you make your career in Data Analytics. This will help you in making a foray into HR Analytics as well.

Being a non-MBA in HR, it will be tough for you to grow in hardcore HR. This is because you will have forever competition from MBAs and out-competing them will be difficult. As a data analyst, you will have the option to handle supply chain analytics, marketing analytics and so on.
