Presently i am working with a company as a HR Executive and one of my frnd got a job in UK as Sr.Sales Executive in Marks & Spencers Industries Plc UK without any Interview, juz by sending an e-mail, and they sent me Offer letter and also Appointement Letter and asked to pay for Visa and Work Permit a Sum of Rs.70,000/-. IS it Belivable or not? Can we proceed with that? Please give me suggestions.

There are reports of fake offers sent from abroad and candidates having been cheated after paying huge sums for permit/ job visa/ licences etc. When there exists very tight competition in the employment market where the employers can find a very good number of alternatives, why should an employer appoint one without interviewing him and without knowing in detail his capabilities to perform the work??? Think of it and enquire in detail about the offer and make sure that the employer in UK/ USA had no other choice but to appoint your friend for the post.
I use to get email stating that I have won some UK lottery !! But I used to straight away delete such messages.

I dont think any companies would take candidate without interviewing atleast they will have some telephonic rounds .. whatevr its advisable tat better before paying think and act....To whom you are paying and whether it s genuine offer or not ? think and decide.....

Hi, Please do not fall for such things i have a friend who spent almost 2 lakhs for the same mail, and was left cheated, just ignore such mails

Just search the net for the actual website of this co. & get the co. phone nos, mail id, ctc. person etc. Try talking to the company officials directly regarding such a vacancy & this appointment. Only if ur convinced shud you think further.
Mostly in such cases the companies themselves might not know regarding such frauds taking place in their name.

rangith, i think its fake appointment letter jus to make money,my best suggestion is jus ignore or enquire thoroughl, if u have any of ur friends working there jus take their help. Roma

Do not accept this kind of offers! Regularly i am receiving mails like this and sometimes it contains some virus as well. Try to ask them their address and other informations also tell them that to pay all these initial payments then they can deduct from his salary after joining with their organization.
