Sure dear, First you need to make a profile/proposal or design a professional web page this will give you more opportunities and a professionalism so that you can approach the company/clients and this is not only a initial stap but a more important for the beginners.
Second is the marketing step. You can make a search on google for this purpose or need to register you company on commercial web portals like clickindia.com and more for the advertisement.
Third Step: Need to make a contact dairy. You can make the personal visits to the industrial/corporate offices for this purpose and also can ask for your friends and contacts for this purpose.
I have not more experience in this but have just started my own agency..best of luck
