Dear R K Singhji, cause of Death is immaterial.Employer has to file EXIT Details-Death while in Service in PF Portal.Apart from returning of EPF Accumulations to Nominee, Spouse & Children are eligible for EPS &EDLI. Death Certificate is required before proceeding further in the matter
