1. To exist alone and not as a component of a bigger business or organization;
2. Own individual bank accounts; and
3. Possess the necessary financial means (at least $3 million) to operate as a freelance facilities manager.
The ISO 41001 certification is obtained by proving that the organization has complied with the standard's requirements.
