A friend of mine would like to know if he can get standard operating procedures that can help run his supermarket. He wants SOPs for General Manager, Floor Supervisor, Maintenance staff, cashiers.
He wants to define their jobs, roles, duties and responsibility and the flow of work.

SOPs whether for the retail store or for the shop floor of a factory, has to be customised according to the requirements of the operations. Therefore, it is important to study the systems and processes and then design the SOPs. While you may get ready made SOPs on Google, how far these will serve your purpose it remains to be seen.
Above all, measurement of the business performance is also important. I have seen situations wherein SOPs were in place but still vital measurement was not done. Hope you do not face this situation.
